No-Nothing Girl
A Poem
No-nothing girl
swears she knows all...
even love. Can only count
one. One hand. One love.
Leaves her mother,
sitting at home,
waiting for her
daughter...
Worrying about
her soul.
She knows the lover
would never let her
daughter go. She
knows he’s controlling...
sees all the signs.
But wants her to be happy...
if only for a time.
This poem is from my self-published poetry War of Will, and can be found in our shop and Apple Books.
