Queens

A Poem

we were the queens

of nothing

but we owned

everything

money couldn't buy

anything it could you got me

it showered diamonds all the time

until those diamonds turned to tears

and rainwater all we had

i know you don't know i miss you

but the addiction made me mad

This poem is from my self-published poetry Fake Flowers, and can be found in our shop and Apple Books.
